How Do I Become a Referee?

It's easier than you might expect, but there are a few steps to follow:

1. Complete a World Rugby Level 1 Referee Course. We typically run these courses in April and May. Registration instructions are here.

2. Referee your first games with assistance from experienced referee educators and referee coaches. These opportunities will be set up for you through the Level 1 Course.

3. Register with Rugby Canada through SportLoMo.

4. That's it- you're certified! Now get involved with ERURS to further your development.
